The Digest

The gang is back and once again they have been asked to solve a mystery. Fred (Freddy Prinze, Jr.), Daphne(Sarah Michelle Gellar), Shaggy (Matthew Lillard), Velma (Linda Cardellini) and Scooby head to Spooky Island to try and figure out what's happening to all the park visitors.

It seems that park visitors are normal party happy college students when they go in, but brainwashed zombies with super strength when they come out.

Can Mystery,Inc. solve this mystery before they themselves become victims?

The Dish

Egads. Some things are better left on the small screen. Granted I stopped watching Scooby when I was about 8 because I had seen all of the episodes at least three times by that point, so I may be misremembering, but I don't recall Fred being so arrogant and conceited. I also don't remember Daphne being such a whiny little witch nor do I remember Scrappy-Doo being a power hungry egomaniac. These characterizations left such a bad taste in my mouth that I was unable to find anything in this movie worth more than 3 minutes of my time.

The Directive

Although Matthew Lillard had Shaggy down to a "T" and some of the kids enjoyed it, this movie was dare I say - a dog.

Scooby Don't.
