CASS' CLIP (WARNING: **spoilers below**)
The end of Final Destination is where the sequel, Final Destination 2 begins. On the one-year anniversary of the plane crash of Flight 180 bound for Paris, a memorial service is held in memory of the victims. Ali Larter (Clear Rivers) is the only survivor who somehow cheated death. At least for now. She voluntarily checks herself into a psychiatric hospital not because she's crazy, but because she believes death can't find her locked in a padded room.

Meet Kimberly Corman (A. J. Cook), death's next victim. Or maybe not. Kimberly and her friends plan a weekend getaway to Daytona Beach. While en route, Kimberly has a premonition and sees her of own death on the highway, which is created by a chain reaction set off by logging truck. [Hey chick, pullover at the next rest stop, and don't drive behind 18-wheelers carrying logs]. Thank God it's only a vision -- that is, until her vision begins to unfold. To protect herself, her friends and the other commuters, Kimberly blocks the on-ramp traffic and temporarily changes their destiny with death. But Kimberly's vision doesn't avert the freeway tragedy for those already doomed to die. "Oh my Gawd, there goes the logging truck!!" Crash, crash, crash, explosion, screams.

Instead of being grateful that Kimberly saved their lives (at least for now), these unappreciative highway travelers, Officer Thomas Burke (Michael Landes), Eugene Dix (Terrence "T.C." Carson), Kat (Keegan Connor Tracy), Nora Carpenter (Linda Boyd), Tim Carpenter (James Kirk), and Rory (Jonathan Cherry), all believe Kimberly is crazy and that they are in control of their own fate. That is, until one of them dies.

Can Ali and Kimberly team up and finally kick death's ass so there's no sequel?

Okay folks, I can't even front - Final Destination 2 is a stupid movie! The audience laughed at every ridiculous special effect that detonated, or sliced folks in half, or exploded. Hey, I thought this was supposed to be a thriller, not a comedy.

If you're a fan of the Final Destination thriller, then the end of Final Destination 2 could spell the beginning of Final Destination 3.
