The Digest
A group of young folks are trying to get Isla de la Muerte to attend a Rave party. After missing their boat, they hitch a ride to the island on the vessel of one Captain Kirk- a cigar and weapons smuggler. Once they reach the island, the find it deserted. You see, this particular island just so happens to be inhabited by zombies.
They must fend for themselves until the morning when they will surely be rescued. Can they make it until dawn?
The Dish
It's not enough that this may just be the worst movie I've ever seen - the fact that I had to drive 40 miles to prove that is what's killing me. This movie was so bad that I don't know the characters names nor who played them and I don't give a shit. Sorry about the language, but I need to express to you, just how bad this movie was.
This movie actually spliced in scenes from the video game. Yes you heard me right. When they were killing zombies, they would use scenes from the video game to depict this. When someone died, a red film would wash over him or her -just like in the game. When someone grabbed a weapon their image was paused and rotated 360 degree - just like the video game. Which brings my next question... when are these people going to learn that the flimsy plots that work in video games, are not going to work for movies.
And I can't even begin with the acting, or lack thereof. In short this movie just wore me out and it wasn’t even scary!
The Directive
Don't watch this movie - ever.
There's bad. There's really bad. Then there's scrape your brain with a garden trowel to erase all memories. And then there is House of the Dead.
