WARNING - SPOILERS BELOW.

We're back at Wellman College. This time, Professor Klump (Eddie Murphy) with the help of a colleague and fiancée Denice Gaines (Janet Jackson), has discovered a youth serum. The problem is that it only works for a few seconds. Dean Richmond (Larry Miller) of course doesn't care and sells it for 150 million. Meanwhile Sherman is having problems keeping Buddy Love under control and this wreaks havoc in his life, most notably with his life with Denice.

In my opinion, the best part of the movie was Sherman's interaction with his family. Grandma stole the show. It's really like you are watching 6 different actors when you see all of them together. It was wonderful seeing Janet back on the screen. I was more than annoyed that she spent most of her time either laughing or crying. No real depth. Granted it is a comedy, but it's been 7 years since her last film and I wanted a "wow!".

As the original, we were treated to crude fart jokes and nonstop sexual jokes. I could have done without the fart jokes and projectile hamster turds. The sex jokes were funny because they were coming from grandma. You'll see what I mean.

It was amusing, but not rolling in the aisle funny.

Sometimes I wanted the youth serum. More than once I wanted my time back.
