The Digest

Kevin Copelan (Shawn Wayans) and Marcus Copeland (Marlon Wayans) are two brothers (duh) who also happen to bumbling FBI agents who are partnered with one another. To atone for their costly mistakes, they are assigned to safely transport and guard two socialites to the Hamptons for the end of the season event and foil a kidnapping attempt.

Other than the fact the two Heiresses, Brittany Wilson (Maitland Ward) Tiffany Wilson (Anne Dudek) are obnoxious, self-absorbed and rude. Things seem to be going well. For about the first 30 minutes, then they have a car accident which gives the girls minor cuts and all hell breaks lose

In light of the “maiming” of the girls, Kevin and Marcus feel that they have no choice but to become the girls themselves. And so it begins. Kevin and Marcus show up in the Hamptons as two rich white girls and it is a world they have never seen before. Before they can survive any kidnapping attempt, they have to survive shopping sprees; girl bonding; and amorous men.

The Dish

Since I saw the trailers for this 2 or 3 months ago, I was absolutely dreading this movie. Imagine my surprise when I, who pretty much can’t stand anything with Marlon and Shawn in it together, found myself giggling - constantly. I was almost mad at myself for liking it. It’s silly and borderlines on ridiculous. BUT the humor of the movie is not the parody of white people. It’s the parody of black people. Some of the funniest moments were when they forgot they were supposed to be white … and women. The stereotypical loud mouth best girlfriend and the black athlete that would give anything for a white woman – Funny.

Under the direction of older brother Keenan, this time around, the youngest Wayans really shine, and these two characters are hilarious, but not funny enough to make a sequel, however. (Please keep that in mind Mr. Wayans)

The Directive

You know, this isn’t a masterpiece, but if you just want mindless entertainment check it out. Check your brain at the door and giggle your butt off

This black chick really enjoyed White Chicks.
