One of MTV’s hugely successful and highly anticipated series “Run’s House” comes back for a second season on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at 9:30pm (ET/PT). Adding to the enjoyment of MTV’s first hip hop reality show, MTV will feature multi-platform elements that will drive fans between MTV, MTV.com, MTV On Demand and MTV Overdrive.

On “Run’s House,” Rev Run (Joey Simmons) of Run DMC must balance producing music and running a sneaker company while raising five spirited children ages 9-22. The series captures the real-life drama and antics of the Simmons family which includes Run’s ever-patient wife Justine; Vanessa, 22, a Ford model and aspiring actress; Angela, 18, a straight A student and promising fashion designer; JoJo, 16, a talented rapper who loves music and girls; Diggy, 11, star of the basketball team and an aspiring rapper; and Russell, Jr., 9, the mischievous little brother.

In it’s first season “Run’s House” ranked number one in its time period (Thu 10:30-11p) among P12-34 versus cable competition and overall reached over 32 million viewers (P2+). On MTV.com, “Run’s House” earned 1.2 million page views, and an additional quarter of a million streams (253K) on MTV's broadband channel, Overdrive.

To get viewers prepared for an all new season there will be a “Run’s House” marathon on Tuesday, June 13th beginning at 10am (ET/PT) and again on Father’s Day, June 18th beginning at 12:00pm (ET/PT).

MTV Overdrive will feature Q&A’s, extended scenes, room tours and video playlists. Full Episodes with extra scenes will be available On Demand starting July 7th. On wireless fans can access playlists at the ringtones boutique on MTV.com, enjoy extended scenes and room tours. Also, as both mobile video segments and as text messages, viewers will be able to text in to receive Run's words of wisdom on their mobile phones. In addition, Overdrive and MTV On Demand will play an original Diggy and JoJo music video.

Russell Simmons, Stan Lathan, Will Griffin, John Davies, and Sean “Diddy” Combs serve as creators and Executive Producers of “Run’s House.” Jason Carbone is Executive Producer. Jac Benson is Executive Producer. For MTV, Tony DiSanto, Liz Gateley, and Mike Powers are Executive Producers.
