The female lead character named Linda Moon (recording artist CHRISTINA MILIAN) is at the end of her rope, stuck in a cheesy all-girl cover group called “Chicks International” (a Destiny’s Child wannabe) performing covers ala “Lady Marmalade” at the Viper Room. She also has mafioso type manager (VINCE VAUGHN), thug body guard (THE ROCK) and record company head (HARVEY KEITEL). When Linda meets Chili he breaks her away from her shifty management and cover group to write and record her own songs and of course becomes a huge, legitimate superstar. The story ends with her performing at the Grammys. The soundtrack features two brand new songs from CHRISTINA MILIAN – one written by ALICIA KEYS and RICH HARRISON (producer of “Crazy In Love”), and one co-written by WILL.I.AM from THE BLACK EYED PEAS.
